Bernadette Turnage grew up in Nashville, TN where her training was primarily in Classical Ballet and Pointe work with the Centennial Youth Ballet and Vanderbilt Dance Program. Bernadette is a BA graduate of Western Kentucky University's Theatre and Dance program in 2018. There, she gained experience in teaching and performing in a wide variety of styles constantly challenging herself to experience movement outside of her comfort zone. She believes the more vulnerable and open to being “bad” an artist is, the more well-rounded and accomplished that artist will become. Her professional company experience includes Mufuka Works and Hum Dance Collective participating in arts festivals and concert dance performances. Currently, she is a co-owner and performer with In Flight Entertainment Productions, LCC, and continues to teach and work in the Nashville and surrounding area.
